Thanksgiving.
Some, it's a time for feasting,
maybe a time for praise,
make a scrapbook of memories,
and watch the holiday spirits raise.
Thanksgiving is a time for remembering.
Perhaps those hilarious moments,
maybe those who have died,
remember the people who made you, you
It's alright, for most have cried.
It's a time for being greatful,
A time for friends and family,
Others for your joyous life,
now let us sit down and enjoy our meal,
will someone pass me the fork and knife?

Latest...
So for the past two weeks, we've been working on creating a short fiction story in our creative writing class. I honestly loved working on it. For me though, I feel like just randomly writing is the best way to get your thoughts down. I'm not really into the whole brainstorming, outline, rough draft, and then to your completely polished final paper. Don't get me wrong, that works really well. But, I'm not into it. For some reason I'm just comfortable with sitting down, curling up with my laptop, and just typing away. Of course sometimes it doesn't make sense, but that's why we have backspace, right? I love my story. It's about a new coming freshman boy. He was so used to being Mr. Hotshot in middle school, and didn't realize that as soon as he hit high school things would soon come to an end. Hands down though, I love my ending. It hits you like a ton of bricks. You definitely would never have expected something like it. Truly, it's one of my most favorite pieces. Let's just hope Mrs. Fegan likes it too...

Always
REMEMBER to always stand out. Don't be afraid to be one, and unique. Just because there are a few different faces in the school; doesn't mean you have to become someone you're not. Change can be a good thing, and other times its nothing you want to get your hands into. Don't be afraid to dream out loud, and let your personality flow through your outfits, hairdos or your own personal hobbies. I've seen so many people become someone they're not just because they were trying to impress the wrong crowd. It's hard to see someone you were so close with at one time change before your eyes. It's like seeing someone slowly start to fade, and you can't do anything about it. Remember to always stick to being yourself. It's the best way to show people your true identity.

Freshman,
Make sure to keep your grades up. Every quiz, test, exam, essay, or paper that is graded will count towards you graduating. So especially in 9th grade, start making good habits. For instance, studying, completing your homework on time, participating in class, and making wise decisions that keep you focused on school, and doing your utmost best. Almost 78% of upper classman last year told teachers that they should have worked harder in 9th grade. I mean do you really want to get in to your dream college, or do you want to work at Walmart for the rest of your life? It's your choice, but if I were you I would choose early, and decide what would make me more joyous, and successful in life.

Remember,
Throughout high school, you have peer pressure, bullies, and difficult desicions to make. But, one of the most important aspects in high school is, staying neat, and organized. Not only does it keep your area flawless, but it helps you keep your papers, books, binders, etc., together, and in tact. So, you always know where to find them. Keep structured, and do your utmost best!
Chillax kiddies,
Look, don't freak out on the first day. High school can seem intimidating, but it really isn't. Sure it's filled with different classes, teachers, and new kids, but don't get stressed the first day. Stay calm, and do your best.
